Online dermatologist consult

Talk to a dermatologist. Today.

Acne that keeps coming back, a patch that will not fade, hair in the comb, an itch that creams have not settled. Send photos, pay, and a doctor from our clinic tells you what it is and what to use. No queue, no travel.

  • A doctor usually replies within 30 minutes
  • Written note with every consult
  • 7 days of follow-up questions included
  • Registered doctors from our Chennai clinic

What we consult on

Acne and pimplesEczema and dermatitisPsoriasisHair loss and alopeciaFungal skin infectionsRashes and urticariaSkin pigmentationDandruff and scalp conditionsNail disorders

How it works

Four steps, one afternoon.

01Describe it, with photos

Two or three clear photos in daylight, what you have already tried and for how long. It takes two minutes.

02Pay. The chat opens.

Chat from ₹199, video from ₹399. A doctor usually replies within 30 minutes. The doctor can switch to video if the photos are not enough.

03A plan, in writing

What it is, what to use, what to stop. A prescription where one is appropriate, and 7 days of follow-up questions in the same chat.

04Build the routine here

SkinPop sells no medicines. The cleanser, sunscreen and moisturiser the doctor names are here; a prescribed treatment is ordered on Chamak or at any pharmacy.

Do not wait for an online consult if there is a rash with fever, swelling of the face or lips, a wound that will not heal, a mole that has changed, or a skin infection that is spreading by the hour. Go to a clinic or emergency department today.

Questions

Who will I be speaking to?
A registered medical practitioner from PingMeDoc's clinic team. Dermatology consults are taken by a dermatologist where one is available; otherwise a general physician from our clinic takes the consult and refers on if needed. Credentials are verified before a doctor joins.
Where does the consult happen?
Booking, payment and the chat run on www.pingmedoc.com, the clinic's own site. You will be asked for a phone number and a one-time code at payment, and nothing before that. SkinPop is the store; the clinic is the same company.
Will I get a prescription?
Only if the doctor finds one appropriate. When issued, it is a digital prescription delivered in the chat and on WhatsApp, valid at any pharmacy.
What can an online consult not do?
Examine a lump, cut out a mole, do a biopsy or a patch test. A rash with fever, a swollen face or lips, a wound that will not heal, or a mole that has changed shape or colour needs a clinic the same day, not a chat.
What does it cost?
Chat consults run ₹199 to ₹599 and video ₹399 to ₹999; each doctor's fee is shown before you pay. The fee covers the written note and 7 days of follow-up.

Ready?

Send the photos. A doctor takes it from there.
